We are a culturally diverse community working to bring healing and hope to the northern suburbs of Darwin. We are working to develop a parish of missionary disciples who are empowered to reach out to those in need and share the love of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

40 Years of faith

​​The Holy Spirit Parish began in 1980 in the old church which is now the St Martin De Porres Catholic Aboriginal Church. The new church was built in 1986. In 2007, the Holy Spirit Parish and the St martin De Porres Community formed a covenant relationship, through which they seek to work together.

Since 2016, the parish has been under the care of the Missionaries of God's Love (MGL), a religious congregation founded in Australia.
